Revenue & the room
Cover Charge & Door Split Calculator
After everyone takes their cut, what does the door actually leave me?
Door revenue rarely lands where the flyer suggests. Ticketing fees come off the top, the promoter takes a share, and security is a real cost of opening the door at all. Enter the deal as it is actually structured.
Your figures stay here. The calculator runs on this device; the share link stores its numbers after the # in the URL.

03 Show the arithmetic
Gross door = cover charge × paying guests
Net door = gross door − ticketing fees
Promoter share = net door × promoter %
Door result = net door − promoter share − door and security cost
Bar contribution = bar spend per guest × total attendance × (1 − bar variable cost %)
04 What the answer leaves out
- Comps are not free. They occupy capacity, need staffing, and consume product; they simply pay nothing at the door.
- Read the promoter agreement carefully. Some splits are calculated on gross door before fees, which changes this materially.
